Photos from ND Launch Party

Tuesday, December 21st, 2010

Several of my best buddies from college made their way back to Fargo for the launch party for Dakota, Or What’s a Heaven For in November. Here are most of them helping me to celebrate this great evening. Lots of laughs.

DAKOTA available as e-book

Monday, December 20th, 2010

Dakota, Or What’s a Heaven For has been published as an e-book by Untreed Reads Publishing. You can order directly from Untreed Reads or from your favorite e-bookstore. I remain a big fan of the material book and of bookstores (and I am especially happy when folks order the novel from the publisher at NDSU), but I am also happy to welcome all e-readers.

A Reading at a Friend’s House

Sunday, December 5th, 2010

Last night a friend from Detroit hosted a book party in her home for me (and Dakota, Or What’s a Heaven For). Over twenty women—teachers, writers, professionals of various stripes, all avid readers—gathered for food and wine, a reading and discussion. It was a privilege to be in the company of these smart and engaged women. Many thanks to our host, Carol, for making this fun evening possible and for introducing me to a whole new community of readers.

If you are interested in hosting a get-together/“salon”/party (choose your descriptor) to talk about Dakota, Or What’s a Heaven For, give me a call, and I will do my best to make it happen.
